Mr. Hirschfeld is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hirschfeld Properties LLC, President of Hirschfeld Building Construction Company, President and CEO of Hirschfeld Management, Inc., and a principal in all three companies. Prior to 1987, Mr. Hirschfeld was employed by Konover and Associates, Inc., one of the largest privately-held real estate development firms in the United States. Since 1987, he has been a principal in The Hirschfeld Companies LLC and its related companies, where he currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hirschfeld has been involved in all aspects of senior level management and operation of The Hirschfeld Companies LLC and its related companies. He has been a principal in Hirschfeld Properties since 1987 and has been engaged in real estate development, acquisition and management for the past 30 years. Mr. Hirschfeld has extensive experience raising capital in both the public and private debt and equity markets. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from Boston University's School of Management. Mr. Hirschfeld is a member of the National Multi Housing Council and has served on its board of directors . He is a member of the board of directors of Friends of Yemin Orde and a former member of the New York Cabinet of JINSA (The Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs). Mr. Hirschfeld is former Connecticut State Government Affairs Committee Co-Chairman for the International Council of Shopping Centers and served on its National Government Affairs Committee. He is a past speaker and advisor to the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York and the Boston University Entrepreneurial Forum.

Mrs. Gotman is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Hirschfeld Properties LLC and Hirschfeld Management, Inc. and sits on the investment committee of Hirschfeld Properties LLC. Over the past 21 years, she has held key roles in accounting, finance, property management, asset management, construction and development at leading national firms, including Arthur Andersen LLP, Trio General Contracting Associates, LG Advisors and GFI Management Services Inc. (“GFI”). At GFI, as the head of its management company, Mrs. Gotman led the company’s successful growth and supporting infrastructure as it grew from 2000 multifamily units to 18,000 multifamily units within just a few years of her joining the firm. Helen is involved in all aspects of senior level management and operations of Hirschfeld Properties LLC and its related companies. Her responsibilities encompass the full range of the firm’s activities, including operations, accounting, finance, acquisitions, construction and long-term planning. Helen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting (cum laude, dean’s list, honor roll) from New York University, Stern School of Business and is the recipient of the L.N. Stern Scholarship for Academic Excellence, I.J. Rosenthal Scholarship, and UFT Scholarship.

David Hall is Controller of Hirschfeld Properties LLC as well as its affiliated management and construction companies. As Controller, Mr. Hall is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, financial reporting production, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
David has over twenty seven years of accounting experience in the real estate industry. He began his career with J.E. Robert Company of New England and spent 14 years there and at its successor firm JER Revenue Services LLC/JER Partners. He was later an assistant controller for a $450 million real estate fund business and from there advanced to Controller of a New York City based real estate investment and development firm with over $300 million AUM comprised of 26 multifamily operating properties.
David has a Bachelors degree in Business Economics from Southern Connecticut State University and a Masters in Accounting from University of New Haven.

Ruth Ocasio-Mojares is Vice President of Human Resources for Hirschfeld Properties LLC and its affiliated management and construction companies. She is responsible for the organizations’ HR strategies and programs for talent recruitment, organizational design, talent and leadership development, compensation, compliance, benefit administration, and all other employee-related matters. Before Hirschfeld, Ruth served as Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for a team of 500+ employees for a building services provider to serviced residential and commercial luxury properties. Prior to that she was Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for United Way of New York City and Assistant Vice President for HR Global Community Relations and Services for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Ruth has been an executive board member for the United Way of Hudson County and the Morris County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She has 25+ years of corporate HR experience, serving in roles building on her core skills of diversity and inclusion, recruitment, performance management, benefits administration, policy development, stakeholder engagement, communications, branding, social media outreach, and employee mentoring and coaching.

Joseph J. Sugamele Jr. is Chief Technology Officer of Hirschfeld Properties. Mr. Sugamele is responsible for the extensive and robust Information Technology infrastructure of Hirschfeld Properties and its affiliated companies. He devises the IT framework, technology procedures, and practices for the Hirschfeld group of companies. Mr. Sugamele aligns cutting edge IT vision with Hirschfeld’s overall business strategy by integrating company processes with multiple technologies and platforms. He is responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives within the organization and maintains existing enterprise systems, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values and missions.
Mr. Sugamele, in concert with his staff, designs and develops all Hirschfeld websites and provides all ongoing support thereto, including ongoing Search Engine Optimization efforts to drive leasing inquiries and traffic to the firm’s operating real estate assets.
Mr. Sugamele is the founder and COO of multiple IT related companies and has been profiled in numerous industry publications. In addition to his extensive IT background and experience, he has over 15 years of experience in multi-family acquisition and operations.
